I started out online in the middle 1980s on 1200 baud modem and a Commodore64. Accumulating a stack of 1581 drives, I went online as =moon= on the BBS in Clarksville, Tennessee known as Moon BBS, Blue Moon BBS, & Lunatic Fringe BBS , we brought
Color Graphics online in our town. There were very few around in those early days and a lot of people responded. We stayed online until the 8-bit home computer revolution was through, logging over 40,000 calls over the course of about 6 years, making quite a few new friends...

Shortly after that a job transfer brought me to Birmingham, my current home. A VERY underrated place. It really is Alabama the Beautiful....
BUT: By far the worst place I've ever had to drive. Worse than Memphis. It's either 90mph or 20 out there. Wrecks along the path to and from work Every Single Day!
This is my first venture back into cyberspace since hanging up the BBS. I wanted to throw up a "cyber sign" into the void, a marker for family, friends, and new friends to catch up with us.

I work in Telecommunications as M.I.S. Manager for my company, Marcus Cable. Beginning with my Dad, a programmer/systems analyst for Bendix in Teterboro, N.J. at the dawn of computing, through me and my life-long exposure to computers, and on to my son, Rob, the computer has been central in our lives. That's great, and we have fun with them, but I would still rather be able to hit a mean curveball...

We would love to hear from you via E-mail!
